Today was one of those perfect days that we'll remember forever. Christmas was in the air and the butterflies were in my stomach constantly like a little kid when they get so excited about the holidays. We woke up to about 5 inches of snow on the ground and it continued to come down in heavy flakes for half the day. I knew it would be an indoor day for the most part so Brinklee and I started it off by making Christmas sugar cookies. This was the first time I let her dump in the ingredients which she thought was awesome and then when I showed her how to dip her finger in and taste it, that was even better. Her tastes kept getting bigger and bigger so we had to end that after about the 4th one. After nap time the snow had stopped falling and we bundled up and went out to play in it for the first time. At first Brinklee hated it. She didn't want to walk in it and kept saying "up up" and pulling at my legs. Then she kinda fell down on her knees and didn't like it at all. It took her awhile to warm up to it and once she did she did NOT want to go inside. Cody met us at home with a brand new sled and we had so much fun pulling Brinks around and playing together. Then we ended the night off with a fun FHE (I posted about it further down) baths, and now we're all in bed exhausted. I wish we could have more days like this, but I cherish the ones we do have and that's what makes them so special.
