Do men have what it takes to be mom?

Cody helps me a lot with the kids and even gets up in the middle of the night with me and Bridger. He's been awesome and I appreciate him so much. However, lately while I'm trying to get used to two kids and get my rythm, I feel like I have no time for anything but kids, I'm lucky if I get a shower and get ready for the day. So typically I'm on my way to clean up the kitchen and shockingly Bridger wants to eat AGAIN, this is always the case. I try to pick the house up before Cody gets home but, once again I usually have to feed Bridger or there's something else kid wise demanding my attention and it doesn't get done. So he walks in the door and immediately makes a comment about the house being a mess, or the sponge is still wet and soggy in the tub from when I gave Bridger a bath that morning or I have forgotten a diaper laying around the house somewhere. Anyways Friday night I left him home alone with the kids while I went to a baby shower for 2.5 hours. It was great for me and I loved the time I had with friends. I called Cody on my way home and said "Do you want me to go get the red box?" He said "No, come home and I'll go get it, I just bathed both the kids and I'm burned out." This was music to my ears =) So I walked in the door and dinner was still on the counter, stove, dishes in the sink, toys etc. everywhere, and Yes the sponge was still in the bathtub and there was a poopy diaper downstairs. Score for me! I had to point it out to him! He tried to justify it a little bit to me in any way he could think of and all I had to say was "See, that's why the house is the way it is when you get home, now you know why. I love it!

oh Court that is the best music to your ears. It's always nice to know that our hubby's at least have an idea of what goes on while they're gone. :)

That is pretty funny. Men have no idea what we go through every day.

On another note...yes, we've moved...twice. Once back to the Coral Canyon house and then we moved just last month by your parents, actually. So, when you come down again you'll have to let us know because we are so close now. :)
